Our expansion plan includes a Home for 50 MCFs and a Training College to train personnel in this specialized field. The college will be affiliated to the National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped (NIMH). The establishment will be on a built up area of about 54,000 sq ft and the cost estimation is about Rs. 10 crore.

We are also working towards sensitizing the society at large and motivating other NGOs and parent groups to start residential sub units. It is our belief that within the next five years, Navkshitij will become a benchmark institute and an umbrella for many such Homes. We believe that multiple centres housing 15 to 20 inmates each is the only viable solution for the rehabilitation of MCFs in India.
